James' family lived in various locations including the UAE, UK, Europe and also Asia and have set up businesses and invested into the property in many different countries.

Then in 2009, his wife tragically passed away leaving me to play the role of Dad & Mum plus work to support my family and run a business.. all at the same time!
As well as having worked as a financial advisor since 1989, James has also qualified as a ‘Life Coach’. He is passionate about the financial services industry and offers a transparent and value-for-money proposition for Astra's global clients. As a result, both the Astra Group and James are involved with many prominent and well-known global groups to improve the quality of financial advice wherever they work. His expertise and services encompass all aspects of financial planning with a focus on making sure clients first have the basics in place like a Will and adequate Insurance.

Astra Group Founder and Senior Partner. Founded the Astra group in 2015 with two partners from SCF. Astra has rapidly expanded from SCF and we now have offices in Asia and Europe with clients all over the world.
Star Capital Finance Managing Partner of SCF. Started the financial division and managed this from 2009 to 2015. The company was registered and regulated in the Czech Republic and had passed porting rights across Europe including the UK. The company offered a full range of wealth planning services including Trusts & Wills.
International Independent Financial Advisor. Worked in the GCC, Europe and Asia providing advice to clients in these markets. Covered all aspects of financial planning including investments, Wills, Life Insurance to both individuals and companies
Eagle Star International Branch Manager. Started career as a Financial Advisor and was promoted to a Branch Manager, managing other advisors and managers before moving back to England.
